OMFG: Want of the week

I always used to shop at Dorothy Perkins, but lately I found myself thinking that they were starting to designer for an older woman.  Whilst browsing online, I decided to look at Dotty P's.  It takes quite something to make me literally say 'OMFG' out-loud, Miss.Welch did just that for me....

Online exclusive; £22.00
There are no words to describe my love for Florence.  Her style is impeccable and her band, Florence and the Machine's album 'Lungs' is probably one of the only albums I could a) listen to over and over again and b) can quite happily work to without getting distracted.

This t-shirt is perfect for summer, you could pair it with vintage Levi's or jeans for a casual day time look.  This would also be a great choice if you were lucky enough to see Florence at a festival this summer.  I really think I'll have to grab this when I get paid.

They also have John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix motif tee's.  Ladies, grab them now, they are online exclusives and they wont be around long.

A couple of other online exclusives I spied were:

£18.00
The American flag motif has been seen on stars such as Rihanna and seems to be a popular choice for a casual tee this season.

£20.00
This is lovely, there really isn't anything more to say.

Dorothy Perkins is back in my good books, well and truly.

Brit revealing?

The Brit awards may be a huge annual music even, but they certainly caused a stir in the fashion world.  The girls were out in force last night, Cheryl donned a leggy Stella McCartney number whilst Rihanna changed four times, including both costume changes and Jessie J just about covered her body in Vivienne Westwood.

Cheryl in Stella.

Rihanna began a performance in Giles, which I loved, it reminded me of a Mert & Marcus photograph.  She then went on to strip down to a sequinned body suit, which to me felt like a big F U to Radio 1 for banning her new single, S&M.

Riri wearing Giles.

Jessie J wasn't the only girl sporting Viv.  Katherine Jenkins and Paloma Faith also wore dresses designed by Westwood, who designed this years Brit trophy.

Did you guys catch the awards? What did you think of the frocks?

I apologise for the lack of blogging today, I've been a busy bee.  I had my Weekly Wrinkle internship trial today, which was originally yesterday but we had to reschedule.  It went extremely well and I'm feeling good about it, I was pretty much told I got the internship, but still you never know!  Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies!

I Spy! Geek chic?

It's all happened in the Fashion world over the last 24 hours.  Marc Jacobs unveiled his ideas for A/W 11, Blake Lively got a Louboutin named after her and Rihanna's been taken to court over her new music video.

Clarissa cool?

With all this in mind i've been off in a dangerous land of window shopping.  An unlikely accessory I keep seeing time and time again are faux glasses.  My best friend hates the trend but I love it.  I guess it's one of those things, if you have to have it, you don't want it and if you don't have to have it, you want it. There is something rather coy about wearing glasses, suddenly your eye is the statement feature to your entire look.

Here's some eye-openers I really liked:

ASOS; £14

ASOS; £14

Jeepers Peepers; £12

New Look; £4.99

So what do you think? Yay or Nay?
I vote: Yay.
