He loves me, he loves me not...

It's been a fairly productive week for myself, I had a trial for an internship and today we shot our pictures for our university imaging brief project.  We, (when I say we, I mean myself and Jemma over at Floral Etiquette) were influenced by Lula magazine.  It was a good day meeting up with a model and make up artist who both did smashing jobs.  We had to style and photograph the shot which was brilliant experience.  A lot of my time was spent directing the shots and also playing around with the set.

I don't want to give away our final images but I was excited to show you a taster of things we got today, so here is a couple of pictures, feedback is welcomed.

The title of the shoot is 'Teenage Dream'.

Brit revealing?

The Brit awards may be a huge annual music even, but they certainly caused a stir in the fashion world.  The girls were out in force last night, Cheryl donned a leggy Stella McCartney number whilst Rihanna changed four times, including both costume changes and Jessie J just about covered her body in Vivienne Westwood.

Cheryl in Stella.

Rihanna began a performance in Giles, which I loved, it reminded me of a Mert & Marcus photograph.  She then went on to strip down to a sequinned body suit, which to me felt like a big F U to Radio 1 for banning her new single, S&M.

Riri wearing Giles.

Jessie J wasn't the only girl sporting Viv.  Katherine Jenkins and Paloma Faith also wore dresses designed by Westwood, who designed this years Brit trophy.

Did you guys catch the awards? What did you think of the frocks?

I apologise for the lack of blogging today, I've been a busy bee.  I had my Weekly Wrinkle internship trial today, which was originally yesterday but we had to reschedule.  It went extremely well and I'm feeling good about it, I was pretty much told I got the internship, but still you never know!  Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies!

Lacking everything.

Today i've been lacking in many areas.  I've been wanting to blog for a few hours but no inspiration has come.  I'll blame the weather, it's stressing me out.  We are shooting our 3 page editorial on Thursday and we hope to do it outside in a park, but at the moment this looks unlikely.  Luckily we have the studio booked.

In other news, I have a trial on Tuesday for Weekly Wrinkle as the editor-in-chief couldn't decide on who to choose.  I'm looking forward to proving my worth.  This internship would be invaluable to me and I have a great idea for a series of blogs to go along with it!
I've also met someone and as it's a day before valentines, this fills my heart with hope that cupids being nice this year.

I found this picture and I love it:

I adore tigers and the art of trompe l'oeil.

How's your day been my pretties?

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

The blog title pretty much sums up my mood right now, I think the sun has really added to my ecstatic mood.  I've had a bit of a hectic day, no complaints there though.  First of all, this morning I ventured into London town for an interview with Weekly Wrinkle for a possible internship.  It went extremely well in my eyes and I think i'd be ace at the internship too so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me guys!

I'd like to mention a company that got me to the interview destination in one piece, walkit.com.  If you ever need to get anywhere these guys give you the directions and also tell you how many calories you'll burn! Fantastic, no?

Secondly, I went for a recce in Epsom park with my imaging partner Jemma, to see what sort of shots we could get outside.  As long as the weather keeps up, I feel out Lula magazine inspired shoot will go pretty well.  Then we had a brief health and safety lecture in the photography studios.

Anyway, enough about me.  How have you enjoyed this gorgeous spring day? I hope it was spent in the sun!
