Christmas Gift Guide: Tis' the Season of Giving

It's less than a month until the big day, Christmas.  As always it's come round incredibly quick and now everyone's beginning to get themselves into a bit of a flap over it all.  I'm pretty organised where Christmas is concerned and will tend to get all my shopping done on pay day at the end of November.  That way it's all done and there is no way I will spend the money else where. If you're looking for some giftspiration (gift + inspiration = giftspiration, get it?!) then look no further, for I have compiled a festive gift guide for you to feast your eyes on.  This will be a mixture of fashion and beauty and a few gadgets here and there!

Click to enlarge for prices and stockist information.
1.  If you've got a bit of a bookworm in the family, the newest Kindle from Amazon is just for them.  Slimmer and more lightweight than the average book, the Kindle downloads books in 60 seconds.  for more information or to go buy, click here!

Retail therapy does wonders for the broken hearted.

Blair Waldorf would certainly agree.
Well, my heart isn't broken but my driving license wont be pink anytime soon.  Yeah, you got it, I failed.  AGAIN.  My driving instructor and I decided that it must be the place I'm being tested and I have re-booked (driving tests are a disgusting amount of money these days) in a different centre.  So to ease the tantrums (and believe me I was NOT happy) I decided I'd buy the Naked Palette, which was still in stock.  I asked for next day delivery, as I'm impatient, so it will be with me tomorrow.

On a happier note, if you are American or like to keep up to date with One Tree Hill then you'll have seen the most amazing ending to the episode last night.  Here's a video to job your memory and to make you smile.  There are big spoilers in the video so if you haven't seen it, I wouldn't advise to watch!

Debutante chic.

Debutante chic.

With the prom season coming up and the last five episodes of Gossip Girl to begin airing next Monday, I thought I'd do a quick look. I love this dress, it's so elegant and flowing and it stops from being plain but having embroidered detailing at the bust. Pair it with a some simple heels, like these cream pumps and an Alexander McQueen (if you have the money) clutch. For the hair how about you try the high 'birds nest' bun (see below) seen on the Chanel catwalks? You'll look like the belle of the ball.

Happy Women's Day!

Happy women's day to all my gorgeous fashionistas and beautistas! What better way to celebrate than with pancakes too?! I thought I'd put in some of my most influential women, who are yours?

Diane von Furstenburg:
Known for designing clothes to 'empower your inner woman'.

Lauren Conrad:
Ambassador of the phrase 'There's light at the end of the tunnel', Lauren turned her life around from reality TV star to entrepreneur, releasing three novels, a non fiction style book, three fashion lines and god knows what else is left up this girls sleeve.

Kelly Cutrone:
One of PRs biggest bitches.  She gets what she wants, when she wants and the fashion world flinch when she walks in a room.  I'd still love to work at Peoples Revolutions, regardless.

Audrey Hepburn:
Need I say more? I believe that Givenchy wouldn't be where they are today, had she not worn that infamous LBD.

Lastly, more for the fun factor is...

Gossip Girl:
Now tell me you wouldn't love to be this woman?  She know's the ins and outs of all the upper east siders as well as knowing secrets before anyone else.  Talk about dramatic irony.
