I've given my blog some serious TLC today, giving it a complete make over.
One of the main changes is my beautiful new header, which was designed by my good friend Megan. I've talked about her very briefly in the past. Megan is a LCF Fashion Illustration graduate and up until recently we'd been working together at Tesco (oh, the joys). She now works at Topshop and is doing some freelance Illustration on the side. The work she did for her FMP was pretty satirical, focusing on chavs, fat people and uggs. Check out her website here for some of her work (it's ruddy good).
We've been working together on and off for the past couple of weeks, getting the design ready and then choosing colours etc. I had a completely different idea in mind when we first started discussing, but we got to this, which I'm extremely happy with! ReplyDeleteI love that it's simple but still not boring at all. And I'm not sure if that's the right English word for it (had to look it up), but I really like those flat/soft (?) colors. And the header is pretty beautiful. I wish I could create things like that.
Soft is the right word! I thought I'd keep it the colours of the latest fashion season! Glad you like it, I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out. x
