Lanvin To Reveal H&M Collection This Coming Week

Top high-street brand H&M announced earlier this year that they would be collaborating with fashion designer Lanvin, for A/W 2010.  November 2nd see’s the official, highly anticipated, reveal of the collaboration, just three weeks before the collection launch.

Fans of previous H&M collaborations from the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Comme des Garcons will be able to see the reveal through a special film shown on  It will give the customers a taste of what they can expect in stores in three weeks time.

The Lanvin for H&M collection is being designed by artistic director Alber Elbaz, who in the past has turned down mass-market projects. “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate a dream we created in Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less.  What intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.”

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor for H&M stated that the company were “thrilled” about the upcoming collection.  “Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful.  The launch in November is going to be full of wonderful suprises.”
