Origins Out of Trouble Face Mask

Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask - 100ml; £20

Lately I've been branching out when it comes to my skincare, mainly due to the fact that my skin has been all over the place for the past few weeks and my usual routine hasn't been helping.  The only thing really missing from my routine was a mask. Seeing as my skin had been pretty up and down, I decided I wanted something natural, but with a bit of power behind it to smooth out the lumps and bumps as well as reduce the redness.  I've always stayed true to Liz Earle but after hearing such fantastic reviews of Origins products it was time to try something new.

I picked up the Origins Out of Trouble, which is a 10-minute mask that's supposed to 'rescue problem skin'.  As well as clearing up spots, the product is supposed to soak up any unwanted oil, get rid of dead skin cells and also prevent any more zits that threaten to surface.  The mask contains Zinc Oxide and Sulfur, which absorbs any unnecessary oil as well as Camphor, which helps to calm the irritated skin.

Once or twice a week, depending on how my skin is fairing, I will apply this onto clean skin. To avoid getting it in my hair, I picked up a tip off of Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup. Take an old foundation brush to apply the mask, this will also give an even distribution of the product too.  When my skin isn't too bad, instead of smothering my entire face I will just dab some of the mask onto problem areas as a 10-minute spot treatment.  Now, I'm not going to lie, this mask doesn't particularly have the greatest smell.  The way I would describe it is a rubbery scent - not great, but if you can overlook it this product is fantastic.  My skin has improved by miles since I started using it and has now become a permanent part of my skincare routine.

Have you tried any Origins face masks?
