Not Just Your Average Joe

The clocks went back this past weekend and it's starting to get a little chilly so it's time to starting wrapping up again.  I got approached by a fashion company, Joe Browns to do a review on one of their products from their website.  I'd never heard of the brand before, so was interested to see what they were all about.  They've been going since 1998 and were originally a catalogue, before the internet exploded and they then went online.  You can still get the catalogues if you're more old school!

I instantly went to the knitwear section and chose a gorgeous chunky aran knit cardigan.  It's called 'Grandads Cardi' and it really does look like something Grandads would wear. I'm all for a bit of Granny chic, so long as you don't overload and end up looking like an 80 year old woman (love you Nan).

The delivery was extremely quick, I ordered on Friday, they shipped it Monday and I received it on Tuesday (bit of a tongue twister for you there).  The first thing I noticed was how extremely thick it was, perfect for layering up on cold days or even just wearing by itself on slightly milder days.  I then noticed these gorgeous buttons, exactly the kind of ones you'd find on vintage cardis.

I've been wearing this pretty much on and off all week. It's extremely versatile going with pretty much everything.  It's longer than your average cardigan so you can easily get away with wearing leggings, without fear of having your bum on show!

I'll probably be wearing this in outfit of the days, which I promise to start again soon.  Check out the site and let me know your thoughts below, would be interested to know how many of you have heard of the brand!
