Lily Allen paints a pretty dress.

Vogue.com reported that Lily Allen, owner of vintage heaven 'Lucy In Disguise' is to launch her own pre-fall line in the shop, taking vintage influences of course.  The ex-pop princess is extremely into her girly glam and frocks, she's even got Karl Lagerfeld to design her wedding dress!  I had a look at the collection, surprised to see they were only watercolour type pictures at the moment.  Nevertheless, there were a few stand out pictures that made me coo.

The dress on the right, named 'The Gold Rush', would be a perfect Derby day mini dress with it's horse print.  The other dress, 'Antibes', looks like something out of Britney Spears' 'Toxic' music video, don't you think?

Of course, if theres a floral pattern, obviously i'm going to love it.  'The Radio City' (far left) dress would be a perfect gown to wear out to a formal evening event, but as I am a student, I don't get to go to many of those.  I really love the middle dress, named the 'Promenade'.  It's got a cutesy feel to it, as well as looking like a very 50s number.

I can't really make a judgement until the garments are made, but this looks like it could be promising and successful in her shop.  Mary Portas eat your heart out!

What do you think?
